One of the biggest emotional problems that almost a lot of people experience is actually depression. There are many reasons and causes of depression. Some of those basic reasons are a chemical imbalance in your physical body. While others are surely triggered by some other issues. One of those issues we are going to look at is family issues.

Family issues are a very traumatic problem when they occur. This is mostly due to the very fact that family indeed is such an intimate if not the closest part of our lives. So when a problem within the family occurs it makes sense that it can cause problems like depression. This is one of the biggest reasons clients come see my in my depression counseling service. Because it is very essential to address any family problems the soonest possible time.

Dysthymic Disorder is similar to ‘normal’ depression. The main difference is that it’s not as severe. One big difference is that this condition lasts over two years before it’s diagnosed. Low energy levels and changes in sleeping habits are also symptoms. Another is a victim’s general feelings of low self-worth.

These four categories of symptoms are also associated with the disease:

1) Changes in the way people think – Difficulty in focusing on something for long and making decisions. This goes with their tendency to also have short term memory loss.

With the ups and downs of life (not to mention the holidays!) come lots of emotions. One of them can be times of sadness which is perfectly normal, but when does sadness fall into depression?

Chronic depression is nothing but depression lasting more than six months and it is not because of any depressive episodes like death of loved ones etc. A recent study has suggested that 67% of people who suffers from migraine headache also suffer from chronic depression.

Anxiety attack that occurs during the night can be a symptom of a panic disorder that eventually leads to a person dreading sleep since the person would start worrying that he or she will not be able to sleep soundly. This is very distressing. Experts would say that this attack is usually due to mental worry and corporeal uneasiness.

But what causes nocturnal fright attacks, why do some people experience this and others don’t. Nocturnal fright attacks actually 10.2 percent of the total anxiety attacks that a person might feel. And this is also more frightening as this can lead to other serious health problems like heart attacks, stroke, and even other irrational cause of death.

Panic attack is described as a condition of having a sudden blow of compelling fear. It usually comes without any warning and without any clear reason. Compared to anxiety attack or the unpleasant feeling that is normally connected with restlessness, fright, or be troubled, panic attack is far more potent.

Panic attack is a serious condition even though it does not cause physical harm. Usually, panic attack only gives psychological effects, which are very alarming. This condition has the ability to strike anyone at random places and time. It is a scary experience and it hits like a burning flame. If you experience panic attack, you will think that everything is so surreal.

When depression settles in, you can take an active role in banishing it. A few easy steps can help you know how to beat depression fast.

Chemical warfare: An imbalance in brain chemicals is one factor that causes of depression. There are many things that you can do to bring the levels of neurochemicals back into line, but the quickest is exercise. Exercise releases endorphins and endorphins help lift mood. Endorphins also help regulate mood, so fighting back with these is like waging a chemical war on a low mood. Any amount of exercise releases these endorphins, so if the thought of a prolonged session does not seem manageable, do something else. Even a short walk will get you moving enough to release those endorphins.

Nowadays, plenty of people in the world are silent sufferers of panic attacks that can come without any warning of signs. They often spend a large portion of their life avoiding any possibility that they might be caught in situations where an anxiety attack strikes them. Situations such as meetings, public speaking, driving, hanging out, etc.

Panic attacks are actually caused by adrenaline being released into your bloodstream. It is trigger by fear signals sent to your adrenal glands, convincing your mind that there is an emergency at hand.

Panic attacks usually occur suddenly when you don’t expect them. During such times, you will be ill-prepared to handle them.

You might be having fun with your friends or doing some other work. All of a sudden, you get a panic attack.

This might cause you to become fearful of engaging in the activity which you were doing at the time of the attack.

Good news for you is that, the even, place or activity may not have anything to do with the happening of panic attack.

So you don’t have to avoid those places and situations. You can continue to live life as usual.
